N6-Methyl-2'-deoxyadenosine accumulates along promoters and gene coding sequences in activated mouse prefrontal cortical neurons and is associated with activation at the brain-derived neurotrophic factor (Bdnf) P4 promoter, which is essential to the extinction of conditioned fear.{66636}
